Parent Committee

The Troop Parent Committee, composed of the parents of the Troop 611 scouts, is responsible for assisting and supporting the troop program. The committee 1) provides adequate meeting facilities, 2) advises the Scoutmaster on policies relating to Boy Scouting and the chartered organization, 3) carries out the policies and regulations of the Boy Scouts of America, 4) encourages leaders in carrying out the program, 5) is responsible for finances, adequate funds, and disbursements in line with the approved budget plan, 6) obtains, maintains, and properly cares for troop property, 7) provides adequate camping and outdoor program, and 8) sees to it that quality adult leadership is recruited and trained.
