Nembutsu Communities		 Gannyuji Temple
Our last stop
Our day took us from Daikokuji to Senjuji, Sainenji, Koshoji and finally to Honbutsuji. These were hermitages that began with people interested in hearing Shinran. They were communities where people lived together, often growing their own food. Working to provide what was necessary to survive. By car these temples are forty five minutes to an hour apart. Shinran traveled among these communities teaching and sharing the nembutsu.
